Drp.Pandian’s credentials

Out of 48 scholars entrusted with translation work of various sangam literature ,DrP.Pandian was the first to complete the work given to him,namely Muttollayiram>it was the first publication by The CIICL>.Secondly Tirukkural by Alagar Ramanujam was poblished.Till this date no one has completed the work entrusted.DrP.Pandian was paid a honorarium of RsOne lakh for the work.

Earlier Former Prime minister Shri Vajpayji has given a Gift of Rs 50 lakhs to The university of Madras in honour of Culamani translated and published by The University of Madras.It is the first and only bi lingual publication in the recorded history.

DrP.Pandian has also translated Ravindranath’s Gitanjali.It was published as a Multi lingual book ,again the first of its kind so far.He has translated all the works Of Tagore published by various publishers

To his credit he has authored about 100 works of university standard.He has widely toured and lectured in various universities in the globe

He is the first and foremost to write an epic to Tamil Language entitled” Sevvial Mozikkore Seeraattu”.which has seen ten editions.

His translation of Tagore’s Lovers” Gift saw 20 editions

He is still continuing to write daily as a form of Yagna.The total number of poems have swelled beyond 0ne lakh.
